Bengaluru Molestation Case Solved With The Help Of CCTV


                                               The video footage that shocked the nation in 2017 was in India’s Tech Capital Bengaluru of a young woman being blocked on the road by two men and molested. It is a terrifying incident that left a scar on not just the woman who suffered but society as a whole. It showed the underlying male dominance, and grit to do what they felt like. It also uncovered how safety is still a big concern in to-be smart cities like Bengaluru. The incident has raised many questions and queries that are still to be resolved. The incident, occurred at around 2.30am on Sunday , was recorded by a CCTV surveillance camera installed at a house near the Kammanahalli, 5th Main Road in Bengaluru. When accosted, the woman had just got off an autorickshaw and was 50 metres from her house.
